Florian studied violin at renowned universities in Vienna and London and started a successful career as a freelance violinist: soloist, member of an international string quartet (Anton Webern Quartett Wien), performing in the most important concert halls all over the world, from Carnegy Hall in NYC to Suntory Hall in Tokyo. He worked with the most important conductors of our time like Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Gustavo Dudamel or Sir Colin Davies.
In the last 15 years he worked in administration and cultural management, he took an MBA-Program (Master in Management) at Donau University in Krems and lead and established two companies.
In 2014 he started his own company merging his experiences from both “worlds”. He developed a successful leadership development method (Pratobello Method) working with the metaphor of a conductor being an active leader of a high-performance-team, that implicates a wide range of possibilities, spanning from development programs, assessments to cultural consulting. His programs are both part of a renowned leadership education in Norway (top 50 of the worldwide Financial Times Executive Education Ranking), sought for in-house programs for international companies and as open programs.
He is also active still as a violinist and speaker.
