the inventor of the concept "The Sound of Leadership"

I have already gained a considerable amount of experience in many areas of my life: my intense focus on music and my violin shaped the early years of my adult life and also led to a fulfilling career as a freelance musician!

Yet, somehow, that wasn’t quite enough for me. So I moved into administration and management within the cultural sector – gaining intense new experiences whilst remaining active as a violinist.

Later, when I held the position of managing director of a company with significant responsibility for turnover, it became clear to me that I needed to broaden my education. So I completed an MBA programme at Danube University Krems, where I had the opportunity to engage directly with executives from the private sector. It was precisely there that the idea arose to make the experiences of a conductor and the power of music accessible to others.

„The Sound of Leadership“ was born – I set up my own business. The next phase of intense experiences followed: building a start-up in a field that hadn’t existed before! With Dorothea’s help, we continued to develop the concept over the following years and turned it into an internationally successful project.

Since 2010, I have therefore been working intensively on leadership and personality structures, and above all on how our impact on other people comes across. My focus is on executives from the business world, as well as on other sectors, such as elite sport (football coaches). For me, however, the topic of ‘leadership’ is much broader: we lead conversations; we lead our lives. And last but not least, as a father of three children, I know that as parents we also take on a central leadership role – an experience that has shaped me deeply on a personal level.

My international work as a leadership expert and speaker, combined with an irrepressible curiosity to explore the many facets of classical music, continues to drive me to make the power of music accessible for the development of as many people as possible.
